Distorted space

In the Distorted Space series, which is both a linear and parallel continuation of New Powerfield, the three-unit compositions remain, but the distortions change in a direction that can even be called organic. The necro-evolution of the circular lines (Stanislav Lem – The Invicible, 1964) happens in front of us, where the grids come to life independently and move the space in different directions almost arbitrarily. However, the color transitions and color mixing that appear in the line systems still preserve the geometry of the circle or ellipse, as a kind of impression referring to the shape's position before the displacement. The movement itself can thus be seen not only in relation to the interference caused by the layers, but also in the relation of shape and color. This internal - unreal - movement justifies the return to a series with more contrasting, stronger colors.
