This series of work is all about bending simple plane shapes - the square - in space. Sometimes I "folded" the square itself, sometimes the border or the background of it and sometimes all of them. 

The bending is inspired by some paper cuts, and the moiré helps to imitate the different virtual refraction on the different elements.

These very small distortions create moving lines and curves in different directions, making space to the 2 dimensional shapes.
